and it is not meant to offend or tick anyone off. I was wondering why alot of people around this site, always mention Washington drivers when talkin about or congratulating NW drivers in doing well. But alot of times Oregon drivers(Crockett and the 1hd car for example) are overlooked, never congratulated. I know its probably just me but isnt Oregon in the NW also? Is it cause alot of people dont like RC or he isnt flashy enough? Is it because RC and/or the 1hd car win alot of races up there? Is it because I am bored tonight and can think of nothing else? Probably the latter haha. Sorry for the rant.
ps I have nothing against any of the NW drivers...I think its cool when any of em do good in anything wherever they are racing.

(THINK) I can Almost answer that question. A Good Percentage of NWRaceTalk Members are from WA ! And We tend to Cheer on WA Drivers !  Lots of Good Racers from Oregon (yes, even I have a few Fav OR Racers) 
We (GHR/ASCS) People also have People like RickT, who are willing to go into the Media Booth & Announce Races as they happen, LIVE on the Message Board ! Photographers & Videographers who get Pics & Videos ASAP. 
Wish we could get More members from OR/CA/ID/MT/Canada(eh') & EVERYWHERE else to come here & cheer for their Fav Racers, post results, pics, vids, etc !

| I have watched the NON WING Sprint cars at Banks speedway in Oregon, They put on a much better show than the winged dust bowel at Skagit or the dry slick one groove track at Elma.The Oregon Dirt tracks are better than we have here. The USAC non wing race at Calistoga was sold out!!..And a great race. Get rid of the wings and lets go racing . The local stock cars at Elma AFTER the WOO boring main event was another mistake . Dont forget Oregon gave us just to mention a few. Art Pollard , Hershal and Doug Mcgriff, JR and JP Standley as well as the new star RC. Jerry Day

Jeff...........when I first came to this board, I wondered the same thing. After spending a great deal of time reading the forums, I came to the same conclusion that Fletch gave. In my opinion and for what I know about Sprints, it seems Washington has more high dollar purse Sprint races on a more regular basis than we do in Oregon.
This message board is still growing and branching out. Oregon is getting more and more mentions about it's racers and tracks. Not only with the Sprint drivers but other classes as well.
Besides that.............between the NWracetalk stickers and folks like you, me and others (out spoken peeps with big mouths ) the word about this message board is spreading rapidly! Just look at the member count here verses other NW boards..........that says alot!
