I am an enthusiast from Germany and became friends with Critter Peterson of the Highwallers Racing Team. I´m trying my best to support them and make them known in my country. At the moment I´m working on an article about them getting honoured at the Mark Howard Memorial Motor Sports Night on July 19. Learning about Mark Howards tragic fate made me rather affected and so I decided to dedicate Mark the greater part of my article. This article will be placed on http://www.motoraver.de , a german mag and website for all fans of american cars etc. Now finally I´m desperately searching for a usable photograph of Mark Howard. -That´s why I registered on your site yesterday. And that´s why I´d like to ask you for help. 1. Do you have any photos of Mark with higher resolution? 2. Can you supply a portrait of him? 3. If so, would you give me permission to put the pics on the net?
I am no professional writer and won´t get any money for it. I do it, cause I like racing and humans.
I would be very grateful to hearing from you

Although I don't have any pictures of him, I'd like to say what a great guy Mark was. He was the mostful helpful person I've ever known at a race track. I remember our first year in the sprint car he went out of his way at 11:00PM the night before a race and helped us with something on the motor half the night. Not many people would go out of their way like that to help a fellow racer.
Anyways, I wish you the best of luck searching for a picture. I'll look around and see if I can find anything.
