Just want to congratulate all the hobby stock drivers from Grays Harbor.  I think you guys all showed that we have some of the best drivers and cars around the area.  For the first time ever running slicks I thought everyone did an excellent job.  Thanks for putting on a great show.  I cant wait for the next one.

Agreed 100%    One of the best races watched all year!!!   Felt bad for German...thought officials in the tower should have notified officials on the track to tell German not to go green on HIS last restart....RF did not look normal what so ever!!!  Great run by Simpson...yet another reason to move up a class!!!  Out of town #9  was in her own world....very very scary:shock::shock:  Cruiser #54 could had pulled her over and perform a field sobriety test in the infield...

Overall fun night from the stands....Late Models should be @ GHR 5 times a year:D:D

I don't recall his name, but the #20 from Oregon was absolutely flying and would have out run Simpson fare and square if he and German hadn't tangled, shame he was sent off.

And I'm with you Tim, more late models for sure.

My bad on sending Joe back out. It appeared we had some bent stuff but did not appear dangerous in the pits. I missed that the cross bar on the upper control arm was cracked.  It's just hard to see in the dark. Another reason for Raceceivers in ALL classes. Bob could of told him to pull it in or maybe we wouldn't have gotten bent in the first place.

Too bad the #20 was so impatient. He was flying. There was no need to drill Joe. Still a pretty severe penalty they gave him. Maybe to the back?

Late models! Oh yeah! Those guys can drive. That qualifying lap by Vitale and some of the moves Mayea and Duty did in the main. Wow!

the late models were sweet they should race there once a month. anyway the officials should have never let joe come out with his tire like that it look like the lower ball joint or control arm was broke completly off. hes lucky he made on lap on that. Overall it was a great race night.

could not believe the yellow flag wasn't thrown out right away when Joe was stalled backwards in turn 4 right in the midle of the track the flagger was throwing the black flag at the 20 our car amost hit Joe and about 4 others befor punchcar hit him that was a bad break for him.thats racing I guess same thing happened to Chris 2 years ago but he was stalled facing the right direction when he got hit that totaled our car that night and rung his bell for a week..I wish we can have a car count like that every week it was a GREAT night of racing:D:D:D

A couple things here. (1)Last time i checked automatic transmission vehicles don't stall like standard transmission vehicles so i thought he was going to get going again like usual.(2)Not every one is perfect as yourself.(3)Your car almost always hits 4 other cars.

Everything was attatched when we sent him back out. We checked it. Balljoints were bent and it was toed out some and the steering worked. Even after he hit the wall both balljoints were intact. The upper a arm mount must have been cracked and it let go when he tried to corner the thing.

Jason I wasn't throwing you under the bus ,and i meant 4 other cars almost hit Joe's car.I know there was a lot happening on the track at that time.I'm sure you were told to black flag the 20 car.And you I don't think you was  flaging when Chris got hit . I know there are other offials around the track to help you out.Our car wasn't even in the wreck I just felt bad for Joe.That is why it is called racing and !!!! happens.I just want you to know that we enjoy racing at GHR .If we didn't we sure would't spend the hunderds of dollors to race every weekend..with that being said see you all next saturday

That restart was doomed. Any time you restart with a lap car right in front of the leaders it is going to bunch up everyone. That restart never should have taken place. When the 77 came out right in front of us we should have went yellow and restarted the next lap. I was really :X. But things happen. I will say the wall is hard and it does not move much when you hit it. With that said. The car is in good shape. I just have a long list of bolt on parts I will be looking for this week. I WILL be back this weekend.

Well  well well, let's see First of all I want to give the Hobby's a big golf clap for a great show! clap clap clap.

Zack Simpson!  WOW!  Very very good driver! Very fast car! Zack You have graduated from High school and it's time to graduate from the Hobby's.

JMO. Take that fire breathing dragon out of that ugly green thing, slap a four barrel on it and put it in a beautiful "MODIFIED". Unless you don't have the barrel's for it.:P LOL

I want to give a big pat on the back to my friend Allen. You did great. Great job buddy. clap clap clap!!! #43

The #9 3/4 What a cool car. Nice guy.

You could tell by looking at the #9 out of town car that she needs to try the

"BUMP TO PASS CLASS':shock::shock:  scary stuff right there. 40 laps people 40 laps!

This Hobby Challenge  is a great idea. Great concept. I hope that even more out of town drivers come back for another azz whoopin :P

We too, enjoyed watching the hobby stocks!  Good show all the way around!

Just wished the flagger would have given the flat tire signal to more of the cars, especially in the LM's.   Would have also liked to see the debri removed from the track sooner.  A muffler in turn 4 laid there for several laps until a LM hit it (received a flat tire) and it flew up against the wall.  Saw suspension parts (from both classes) laying on the track that were never picked up.  Kitty litter works very well for absorbing the oil and water spills..........

For safety reasons, any and all lapped cars should be sent to the rear on a re-start.

Not complaining here.  Just my opinions that I thought might be helpful as Saturday night was a learning experience for all.

A business that refuses to listen to their customers soon will not have customers to insult!

Remember for you it's a job.

So this thread dosnt go way out in left field where it is headed, let me go back a little ways. When I said that there were alot of armchair quarterbacks in this world I should have explained or maybe said things a little differently.

Its easy to sit back and say "well things should have been done this way" or "if they would have done it that way" Unless you have been" there "and done" that" all you are giving is an opinion just like my post was an opinion. My opinion  and mine alone.

"We did survive the storm better than 95% of the Late Models.  They had 6 or 7 motors go south, lots and lots of broken suspension parts and even more body damage.  Our driver and motor is still entact.  The air compressor will fix our flat and a few nuts/bolts will fix the broken body mounts.  The winnings will help replace the 3 lost mud plugs.  Chance also picked up a couple of driver line jobs after the race!"

"Just wished the track surface had of been better.  Track promotor asked us after the race where we thought he could improve........ said he would work on getting the track a bit smoother next time for the LM's.  We all thought it very considerate of him to even ask!"
