| Just wondering who uses automatics in their hobby or mod? Also do you use the powerglide or not?

| 75x hobby has a turbo 350 automatic in it. Same thing I used for years. I used a powerglide in my mod for years but they are a disadvantage to the Brinn type trannys. 3 speeds or 4 speeds in either class are a waste of time and money in my opinion. Unless that's what you already have. An automatic is a hell of an advantage on restarts in the hobby class. Cheap too.

Best thing to do is come into the pits and ask questions...talk to the fast guys
many many options for many many budgets
might want to watch heat races first then determine who to talk to....
...German 75x hobby can talk or ear off....and he loves it
also thumb through a Speedway Motors cat.....will give an idea of differences and costs.....
