Grays Harbor Raceway located at the Fairgrounds in Elma is excited to announce more news for the Lucky Eagle Casino Big E Labor Day Weekend Spectacular.

Grays Harbor Raceway’s 6 time 360 Sprint Car Champion,  Shelton’s Jay Cole, will be driving one of the Northern Provincial Pipeline Late Models for series owner Dwight Kennedy on Saturday August 30th. Cole who has not raced a full body stock car in years, is very excited at this opportunity and will be looking to add another victory in the win column to his already impressive record at GHR.

On Sunday night August 31st the Ford Focus Midgets have been added to the Night before the Big One American Sprint Cars Series Northwest Region event.

Monday night September 1st will see the NPP Late Models added to the program to back up the Big One, the World Of Outlaws event.  As an added bonus to this event, DJ Kennington who drives for Kennedy in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, will be driving one of the NPP Late Models.   Kennington will be making his first ever dirt track start, on his way back from the NASCAR Nationwide event in Fontana, California on Saturday August 30th .

To order your tickets for this spectacular weekend call the Raceway office at

(360) 482-4374 or for more event information visit us at

So in order to run in this race you have to drive for the owner of the series? Because when I talked to Dwight about running this race he told me that we did not run the first race with them so we cannot run this race with them because we are not in it for points. But as long as we drive for a car that is owned by an official or someone like that then it is ok to show up for one race?

Makes no sense to turn down a car count for one race. If that is the way that they treat potential members why would I want to become a member?

Did you run the car in your avatar at St Helens last year?
