I understand that there is a special Grandstand section at the track now in memory of the big guy... Anyone know anything of this? Sounds very cool!

Wish I had known about that while I was there yesterday morning. Would of snapped a pic while there.
Also, there is a memorial park bench w/ a Fred Brownfield memorial plaque along the walkway to the grandstands (along the wheelchair accessible part). KUDOS to Cecil Walker and his family for that. Trying to add the pic right now, but my pc is being a brat and wont't let me.

The man who had a vision, most fittingly has the #1 seat in the new premium seating section.No painted number on it yet,that will be way cool tho.Hmmm... i wonder if they have trackside radios in heaven.
