Please read the below story for a laugh.
Well here's the story, my dad dislikes Castrol Raceway in Edmonton, Alberta Canda, and has never seen the world of outlaws. He also has never been to Skagit Speedway. So on Thursday @ 8:00pm MST we leave Hinton, Alberta Canada and head to Skagit.
So after we drive across the country, enter your fine country we find our selfs @ the Best Western in Bellingham by Bells Fair, where we always get FANTASTIC Service! They let us check in @ 5:00am Friday morning.
We wake up, to Rain. We walked around in the rain. We eat at Dennys and watch it rain, and I laugh because I have been to Skagit before and I keep telling my dad, dont worry we will race.
We drive to Skagit in the rain! We park at skagit in the rain! But above the hills is BLUE sky, I tell my dad see, just like........ knock knock on the window, sorry sir we are rained out................ what i ask? We are rained out, oh thanks parking lot boy. We get out and so my dad can look at the track. HE WAS VERY IMPRESSED.
But it's okay, we have Saturday tickets, still. We leave the track and its sunny and getting HOT. Perfect. Next moring we wake up its nice, we eat at Denny's and its nice but @ 12:20pm local time my work phone........ Rings........ "Hey Andy where are you?" I reply "Bellingham Washington" they say "Oh,....... ah...... you need to be in Calgary Alberta for work by 4:00pm MST on Sunday we the share holders approved the purchase and we get posession on the 1st".... I reply "on my way" they go, "oh but you have to get your work truck loaded in Edmonton" DAMN this now adds another 4 hours to my drive since I have to head back the long way and racing would have to end @ 9:00pm for me to make it Sunday @ 4:00pm.
So we drove back! But I took pictures related to pictures I prolly would have taken so... Enjoy.

High flying action @ some place you might have heard of!

The Haulers and Track equipment have arrived!

We saw the Kasey Kahne....... banner

Last chance for cheap fuel before heading to expensive Canadian gas!

Everyone is about to line up 4 wide to start the race into Canada!
So just my luck, to bad I couldnt see the following members, KK, Jeepasourisrex, Chris21p, Kelly Hart, Kaleb.
How ever when I found out Jason won, I did a victory dounght at a shell station in Edson Alberta, and got pulled over for stunting, but no ticket so it was a victory!
