Here's my 2 cents worth, extremely dissappointed about last weekend. And just how do you tell track conditions at Skagit when you are in Elma anyway? Busy off season to come. Going to be making a trip to Redline Motorsports in Late Oct for some custom cage work. So if anybody wants some kits, I'll be there to pick them up.

Man! You are in denial Sir!!:D Call me when you come to, we'll build you another engine and get it in the car. I know you have one in it, but you drove it to the track on a rainy day. Engines gone now!:PLol!

I am out of this one sir. My sponsor wants me to stay with my Mitsubishi. So I will not need a cage for a cav. Thank you for wanting me to move up into a cav, and wanting to help me out with that. I have totlal faith in my sponsor, they have treated me and my car well. They just came in too late in the season to really help me get further up in points, or even to hold on to 2nd when I was there. They want to be a total sponsor this up coming year. We are setting up an apointment to talk about what its going to require on both parties and what our sole duties are. I think I may just be an owner and only a driver. Just may be that I dont work on my car at all. I will update you on that. But till then, I want to get started on pulling off all the bent up tin and removing the drivetrain.

Well, I need to get at least one more race out of my lil beastie before I retire her. Seeing as I dont like pavement I am petty sure I will be taking her up to merritt in october.
Hopefully if things go right I should have the mercedes sorted out by next spring and if not I already have another mustang in the works too.
Them RWD celicas look nice and all but they dont hold together all that well, after 3 years on the track and 2 rollovers the mustang isnt prety or the fastest thing out there but you cant kill it. Maybe I should have gone with an energizer paint scheme on it, it keeps going and going and going......

Good to see by starting this topic every hornet is venting (LOL):P  Just thought it was crappy that things didn't get to pan out for you all at the end of this season. As fans the whole family was looking forward to it and those of you who know us as sponsors/grafix people it really was crappier(if that is really a word) we worked through the night(which hey it's a job that we love:shock:) on so many numbers and grafix for so many of you and then not to even get to see them in action. It was a bummer, curse the rain!!!!:(:(:(

But hey before we know it we'll wake up and it will be all here again soon enough!!!!!!!!:D:D:D:dude::dude::dude::dude::dude:

As out motto goes: BLOOD,GUTZ, SPEED ALL DONE WITH INSANE GRAFIX

Hmm, pink eh? I like pink, wait, there are kids here never mind.
As for the turd part, yeah, after 3 years and 2 roll overs it is a bit beat up, but it started every main this year and last year too. Thats also with the same motor, haven't lost one yet.
51, leave the flashy car at home next time and just bring something that can run a full night.
Speaking of, you and the old man should come up to Canada with me.

Just read Meridian's hornet rules. Most of skagit's cars won't meet their rules. Radio and speakers must remain and be operable. passenger door must be able to be opened, but chained shut for the race, etc.

In past seasons they've always let us come up and play even though we didn't meet everything sepecifically.  I think they made exceptions for the sake of car count.  When I went up and raced in Agassiz a couple of seasons ago they let us (Brett Lloyd and me) race even though we didn't meet their rules.  We were the only guys with cars that weren't yellow.  I had an orange car and Brett was white.  It was a lot of fun though. :)

Nope.  Just had a Skagit car.  Nothing worked. :)

I meant that I don't understand why the radio has to work for their cars. Unless they have their own mini broadcast station so they can communicate with the cars? "Track is yellow". Seems far fetched, otherwise a ridiculous rule.

I think that the horn and radio working rules help keep the teams under the mindset that these are supposed to be stock cars not race cars.  Some Skagit cars are a long ways from that.
