As long as my tow rig stays together that long and I have a trailer to use I'll be there.

lol, naw, the 'burban is almost straight just a bit rusty.
It could however use new breaks and front wheel bearings.
Breaks are important when comeing back home from merritt.

I guess compression breaking does take care of most of it but Its still something like 2 hours of straight down hill. Blasted people went and built the track on the top of a bloody mountain! going up is just as bad in my truck, first gear with my foot alll the way to the floor at about 10 mph in some spots. but my rig is a gutless little thing.
I don't remember what the entry costs and pay out are but there is contact info on the Merritt website. http://www.merrittstockcarclub.com if somebody can contact them and post the info here that would be great, I'm never available to call at a decent hour or I would do it.
And Hey K9, you still not going so I can borrow your trailer?

Ben, c'mon man!  When did the hornets ever worry about cost to get in and payout?!  Just shut up, get to the track, strap in and kick some tail. :)

Not even there and i fixed your problem with your truck! If you happened to wreck, at least your race car looks like it's already been through it!:P:D That was harsh! Funny, but harsh! I'm definitely going. My little beastie needs one more race before she gets retired to the great race track in the sky.
Its too bad fuel prices are so high right now, about 3/4 of this trip is spent in gas. cool thing is I use about half as much gas coming home as I do going up.

Who is all going from the GTS team and the Hornet camp? I will not be able to go this time. Maybe next year? I am going to keep my car together just a little longer. The 26th there is one in Idaho some of the GTS team will try and go too as well. Good luck to everyone who is going this weekend. Be safe!

That's a two week trip for you isn't it? So I guess I'll just start in on my car. No mater! It's still a win/win for me.
