Hi
The boys at skagit have been busy trying to get work done on the track before the weather goes bad . They said the will make a announcement soon .

We have talked to a few racers and car owners and they have all said as far as they knew there wasn't going to be one? I know Deming had one. If we hear anything we'll post in here and on our racing website

Awards Ceremony
The 2008 Awards Ceremony is in the planning stage. We are trying to schedule a date that doesn't conflict with to many teams plans. A location and date will be announced soon.

| Deming hasn't had their banquet yet... it is November 15th at the Cottontree Inn. Same place as last year and tickets are still available. They wont be at the door so get yours soon!

The 2008 Skagit Speedway Awards Banquet will be held Friday November 21st at the Best Western Cotton Tree Inn in Mt. Vernon. Happy hour will be at 6:00pm, Dinner is at 7:00pm and awards will start at 8:00pm.
Tickets are $40 each and are avialable by calling 360-724-3567 or 360-724-3493 or stop by the track office between 9:00am and 4:30pm Monday thru Friday. TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED BY NOVEMBER 14th. No walk up sales.
Dinner will be buffet style with carved slow roasted top round of beef and Macadamion nut Crusted Halibut and all the rest of the tasty trimmings!
After the dinner Brian Simonseth (H2H Photos) will have a nice DVD presentation before the awards and point fund money is handed out.
Dress is casual. Seating will be first come first served.
Room rates are reduced from $109 to $89, just mention the Skagit Banquet. The Cotton Tree Inn is located off I-5 exit 227, go east to the first light then left (at the Taco bell) and go to the 'T', the hotel is on your right. Reservations at 360-428-5678.
