Well, I'm back from my latest wanderings into Canada. This time to ClearWater Speedway, about an hour north of Kamloops.
I was the only 4 cyl. car in attendance this time and finished in second place both nights.
Saturday night I lost to the same chev malibu that won last Saturday at Merritt and Sunday night I had the lead for 19 laps but the second place car, a chev MonteCarlo managed a pass on me on the last lap as we were both passing a laped car.
If not for my bad line around the laped car I'm sure would have had the Monte beat as I held him off saturday night this week and bioth nights at Merritt last week.
Oh well, there is always next year. I had a great time in Canada again, the people are awesome to race with up there. The tracks are also the best racing surfaces I have been on all year, very hard well packed clay. we were running 2 wide all night both nights. Me running the high line and the Monte on the bottom.
Hopefully the track at Skagit comes in good this next year, I'm already wanting the next race!

Way too cool sir! So I will plan on putting money aside all year so that we can go and race with you. If my cars hold out! Well see. I kind of remember beating on my car once last season till it fell apart. so if I don't do that again, I may be ok? Second place! Wow! So? If any other skagit car would have gone, you would have taken 3rd? Lol!! No man, I'm just funning you! Sounds like it was a blast. And what really sucks is that now I have the money to go! A little late huh? Go figure! Oh well, A few of us on the GTS team will try and hang with you next year sir. Sorry I couldn't this time around. Just so I know and everyone else that may be interested knows how much we should save. How much was it round trip for fuel, food, drinks, lodging and anything needed, how many people went with that you paid for. My family really supports me and my racing habit/major addictoin, so I would take them with me too. Is your car still in one peice? aside from the ones you left on our track?Lol! sorry man? I don't mean to pick on you, but it's just so easy! Just so all you hornet drivers know. Next yr we better watch out for the faster 03 car. From what I hear, it will be fast.
