I will be down at Elma, wish I could make it to Deming Friday night, but its a long drive, from Elma to Deming.

Hope everyone up that way has a good weekend if they aren't racing anywhere.

Anyone know what Skagit drivers are making the trip down to Elma?

Hornets race both Friday the 3rd and Saturday the 4th in Yakima. Free camping available (no hookups, but free camping!) and it is going to be HOT...

Mostly I cant sleep. I really beat on my car to hold on to points when it broke last weekend. My sponsor has had my car all week and it's still not fixed. Due to parts availability. He says it will be ready for next weekend, but I am sweatin it.

This weekend my family and I will watch the parade, go see if we can find a good fire works show some where. It's really hard for anyone to beat skagitspeedway's fire works show. Then a few of us will go up to the track and make a really late dinner and have some fun like we just got done racing!! Whoo Hoo!!!

Everyone have a safe but very fun weekend and hope to see you all next weekend at the races!!!

Yes, they have my car and are trying to fix all the damage I have done to her this last weekend. Bent rims, bent struts, one blown out strut, froze up t-stat, ICS motor went bad, trottle body gasket srung a leak, two bent spindles, tore an axle boot and packed it full of clay, burnt the clutch disc. not to mention all the body damage it has sustained under the impacts in the heat races, shifter cables came apart in lap two of the main and was forced to over rev her at 8,000 RPM for 18 laps, temp guage was at 3/4 temp all of the race. So I have been forced to do a temp tear down...well my sponsor just to make sure I didn't blow it up. So the damage has been quite extensive through out the car. I had to compete and fight to keep my points or I would have just come in to the pits. They tell me they can save her and she will be ready for next weekend. We'll see how she runs with all the repairs done to it. I have total faith in these guy's.

Good thing the track is closed for the 4th!  Gives everyone a chance to repair all the damage the cars sustained.  It was a tough race...everyone battling it out for the points.  Good Luck, Freddie, with the car!

I sooo wish I could come and race over there with you guy's. But my race car is still broken and my back up car is still not set up. All will be changed for mid season.

Keep us posted on days you run and we dont sir. I would like a chance to to run your track once. I am sure I can talk others into going over as well.

Would be fun!
