well i do not know where to start. it was a sad day.
we did a fancy ceremony ( SP? ) all the cars where on the track.

Greg DID race his late model.

WOMANS:
Kari Puncochar #27 won the A-main and the championship.
Freya was driving my car to get points for Jamie ( she did not want to race )
Pure Stocks:
Scott Puncochar #37 won the A-Main again.
Robert Summerhalder #32 has the pure stock rookie of the year locked.

Street Stocks:
Dennis Kroling ( SP? ) won the A-main
Randy Allen won the championship

Late Models:
Scott Puncochar Won the A-main
Greg Walters Finished 4th

Tracers:
Cody Jones won the A-main

MY MAIN :
started 4th.
got 2 laps in and got in a crash.
Chris AASLAND #12 got loose and over corrected it and t-boned me in the driver side door.
it ripped of the door,Nerf bar And Snapped the Axel in half.
so it was not a good night.
( should have pictures of my crash soon. )

::

Every Divisions A-Main went 4-wide at the start. because that is what Doug liked. ( Tracers went 3 1/2 wide )
the late models went 4 wide but with a twist.
Greg had the checker flag out the window. he was in front. then it was 4-wide behind him.

Almost every driver while going 4-wide had 1 hand out the window pointing to the sky.

AND

Almost every car had at least one of the 2 stickers that where made in memory of Doug.

it was a sad night
Andrew

P.S. i need a rear Axel for a nova. pm me if ya got one. ( willing to put name on car )

Sounds like a nice ceremony in memory of Doug.  Thanks for sharing that with us, Andrew.

Doug would have wanted the race to go on.

What the heck happened Andrew? That's ugly!

Personally, I would like to see every track do a 3 or 4 wide parade lap before their main event at every race in every class................gets the crowd wound up!........even myself!;);)
