This Saturday night the action at Wenatchee Valley Super Oval will be hotter than the weather. The traveling mob that is the Northwest Outlaw Street Stocks will run their second race of three at the famed quater mile.
Spanaway's Mike Press leads the season points by a slimest margin of only two points over East Wenatchee's Bob Grenier. Press is winless this year but has by far been the most consistant Outlaw. Grenier, who stole the gold in the seasons first two races, looks to turn around some bad fortunes and get back on the winning track.
Third in points is Wenatchee's Gary Homad followed by Tacoma's Kevin Carver. Fifth place Mike Easley of Olympia will not be in attendance do to multiple engine failures but is hard at work on a new bullit for his car. Rounding out the top ten are Bryan Bykerk also of Olympia, Mark Gernlein of Rochester, up and coming Amanda Macdonald and Dustin Kagele both of Ephrata. Sneaking into tenth is Super Dave Lund of Arlington; with two wins and a second in the last three races he has again raised the bar for all the Outlaws and local competitors alike.
