I would like to thank Dave J. and Rick for for being profesional with the teching on Satarday night. Thought I would be at the shop on Sunday tearing the ol hot rod down but Dave J. saved the night by finding what he needed.

P.S. Running close to the front and clean teching feels good.

Sounds like we might just have a nice sized field of cars on the 5th, can't wiait.:)

Does the 500 to win apply to the 100 lapper if there are twenty cars, or is it participation points?  Just wondering.  We are not contenders for the big prize but will be there ready to try....:D

it is $300 to win garanteed,      the outlaws run for a tow fee. How they distribute it is on them.
I would say that if 20 dcs cars are in the house that the $500 to win should apply!   Race Safe!

All for racing safe.  Does the field have to be inverted for this 65/100 lap race?  The faster cars come right around anyway, so would it be safer on the carnage to just let them all check out and have a even moving start for this one?

Just typing, but it makes sense to me.

I would definetly invert the field... You have 65 or 100 laps to get to the lead. gives other guys like you scott a chance to defend them off.. Some people fly when they get a clean track in front of them but others move through traffic well.....

Yeah. I know it is carnage at the beginning of the race with everyone trying to win on the first lap, but in talking to Adam it made sense that it is passing points on how everything is determined.

Also, it would be boring for the fans to see the faster cars shoot out in front and then there would be less "racing" going on.

Survive the first lap or two and then the field gets into a good order and then all the racing happens

Hey Adam-

What is the deal with all the face shots? Did you take all those pics late after one of the races and a few too many?

LOL

You guys will also find that the mojority of the time that you run a long race, the fewer the cautions because everything isn't bunched up and so important to do right away.

It was just a thought,  all the tape we have, the leaders are at the front within a lap anyway so why not save some carnage and have the entire field finish was what I was getting at...:)  The faster cars bail right to the front and when the cars are three/four wide, all that happens is contact. Not sure if you can hold off a few of them all at once.

We should be ready by Friday for Saturday...lol  Lots to swap after last race.  Gonna leave all the body work for winter.

Nick, you need your car out there for this one.

with all that wrecking it gives me more of a reason to to keep it at home... :D we will be there for the 09 season. I like to see people like Scottie and Karl lead laps it gives them encouragement and makes them feel good about the race.   It does suck when the field gets wadded up on the first lap but i think it would happen if the field was not inverted because the 1st and 2nd car would be racing pretty hard to get the jump out of 1 and 2. I do have to say scottie is doing very well.... And his crew chief is very motivated which is what it takes to get a win.... ;)
