Well I am not going to make it with the #9. Got it running today, after putting rings, bearings and headgasket. Well now it is running on 3 cylilnders. Tracked it down to a bad injector. Nobody in town has one.

AT FIRST.... i must say I was really, i mean REALLY mad that I drove 70 miles to see 4 no-name wanna be monster trucks, take turns running over 1 stack of cars over and over again. I knew it wasnt going to be monster jam, but i mean that was way below my expectations and not a very good value for my overall $70 admission!

but like I said, that was AT FIRST...

first and foremost Id like to thank adam for a great! i mean G R E A T ! ! ! show in the van. that made up for the lame-o truck appearance.

i gotta feel for the guy you had riding with you, whom you slammed into the cast off boat in turn 1, that was cool. i hope hes ok and your passenger seat shampooed out well.

a few of the highlights were:
dude on the green quad falling off, getting run over by his own machine and then scrambling to win the race afterall.

a nose to the sky superslam landing in the aerostar, way cool. you didnt need those vertibrae you compressed to thickness of a ritz cracker anyways did you?

the old school monstertruck with the frame-on suspension and short wheelbase.... put on a good bouncy show, was my overall fave, and when was the last time you saw them flip a monster truck back over and the dude drives it off the field. I expected that truck to roll like dice down the front straight several times, though it only happened once.

Ive never seen them crush a fresh (still living, breathing) car before, that was pretty cool! wish it would have caught fire.

oh yeah, the burnout competition was rockin. wish lightning woulda been rady to go!
(at least it woulda been cheaper to go through the pit gates than the front gates, that's for sure!)

anyways, thats my 2 cents worth, (marked down to 1 cent after inflation)

the attendance show'd how impressed the fans were, everyone is used to LIVE NATION and GRAVE DIGGER!   not a real bad crowd, but not great.
The show these people brought in is pretty normal for a budget type promotions group.   4 trucks is pretty typical.   any more than that and you know the big dogs are intown.

I know everyone at the fairgrounds tried to help these people organize best they/we could. We all know that even though the event had nothing to do with dcfg or dcsE, that final results would reflect on all of us.
Hornets put on a great backup show, congrats to cody, jeff and tyler 1,2,3!    quads could have used a lot more water and the tuff trucks could have used a better jump track.   The burnouts were cool, they had LOTS of pavement to burny on......lol

Someone should have the mud drags, the tractor pulls and freestyle motorcross come back.  I'm getting tired of the monster trucks.  Is this something u can do Adam?
