As for the driver, it does make a difference.I disagree.  The car I got for the never to run POS race barely went down the road.  After going through all the bad vacuum lines and such.  It screams.  That huge vibration that made the whole car shake at 40 mph was a huge bulge on the tread of the tire.  It's smooth now.

But then again there coulod be some truth to your theory.

This is great.  I'm poppin popcorn and leaving the TV off tonight.  Too much to watch here.

If he gets a tear down so should every body else including my car!!!!! so everybody bring a gasket set cause he may talk like he is cheatin but doesnt mean he is and i can bet that one of your cars IS illegal and i'll find it

all he has to do is put the fuel injection back on and take the carb back off as far as i know that is it
One of Daves car similar to the 8 hornet had, a 1 barrel carb on it because of inj problems and they ran a season so what is the difference?
i believe i heard something about that... :X

thats true but i didnt build my car and whoever did decided to put a different carb on it...and i think i know why...

Do you and RacingRay75 share a puter?  When you come on, he goes off and when you go off he comes on.  Just an observation....

It is hard to know what has been done to a used car.  But like pumpman says, if it doesn't run going down the street, it will have the same result at the track.

hes actually like my brother...he lives with me.

we both are going to be racing at the grove next year.

and the 2nd part of that i know some cases where that aint true i know of a couple cars that can haul balls on the street but cant corner worth ****!

I was getting at if they don't run well, you can make any car corner well, that just takes time

because we were in need of a car pretty quick and it was cheaper and faster to buy a car already built!

For $350 it was worth a chance.
