Hey Benjer, looks like you're getting an early start on next season.  That's great!  I don't usually start on my car unil AFTER the first race.  I heard they aren't going to race Supers next year and you'll have to race it as a Late Model... JUST KIDDING!  Or are you going to leave the body off and race it as a Modified... JUST KIDDING AGAIN!!  But all that fiberglass work on the hood would last a lot longer if you just left it off!!  My new paint job only lasted thru one heat race.  Anyone else hear that Bob Edwards moved... wondering if he will make it to the banquet to get his Championship trophy?

How much I tell him depends on how long it takes Benjer to beat me...  he has already picked up the suspension theory a lot faster than I did.  His new car should be a couple hundred pounds lighter than mine (better weight distribution) before adding weight, and then another hundred pounds lighter for TOTAL because I add penalty weight for for brakes and engine.  One practice night only a couple of races into the season, Benjer was only a third second slower than me the first time he drove my car!!  I'm worried he might kick my but the first time out!  I know he will eventually though, so I'll set up his car just like it was mine.  I warned him about the sanding slivers from fiberglass getting into the pores of your skin and he sprayed his arms with hair spray before he sanded, but I didn't think to warn him that when you mix the resin it sticks to EVERTHING!!

were goin to finish mounting the suspension. whoever worked on it didnt bolt down the susp. all the way.the sruts on the front are missing a bolt so it looks like it has alot of camber when it really doesent. so theres some work involed i will post pics in a few days.

:D Yeah i did the same.....We learn fast tho ...dont we ...;)

My first glass repair job was on a tilt front end for a Baja bug that i was going to enter in the Mint 400 off road race in Nevada ...The car was a peace of art when i was done with it. It lasted 125 miles before a man by the name of Rod Hall in a class 8 truck hit it in the rear then spun it around to my nice hood and tore it off .....:(
