| I just got the new (open wheel) sprint car and midget mag and it said natalie sather is the first women to win a sprint championship,I think Shawna wilskey slipped their mind with I think but not sure 3 NSCS titles,Ok go get em girls.there email link wouldnt work for me. | I saw the same thing, multiple times in the magazine and thought, boy, they sure missed the boat on that one. I tried too, but if a snail mail letter needs to do the trick, then I hope they recant themselves. We have the honor of knowing the real "first female to win a sprint car championship". Don't want to take away from Natalie's accomplishment, but the statements simply are not true.

Shawna actually won 3 Northern Sprint Tour Titles (96,99 & 2000) and also won the Yakima "Fun in the Sun" title slightly edging out Jay Cole the one year (2001) that Fred ran a Friday night series at that track. I remember that fun in the sun thing over at Yakima, it was cool...
