Wow Rick, time sure does fly. Tim is one of NASCAR's finest ever. Sure would have liked to see him and SR going at it for several more years. :-(

As big as a NASCAR fan that I am, I still can't forgive them for how they treated Tim after his illness and his death.  Even though they are getting better, they still say as little as possible about Tim Richmond.  It was just (and still is )sad.
David Poole of the Charlotte Observer and Sirus Nascar radio wrote a book.  "Tim Richmond: The Fast Life and Remarkable Times of NASCAR's Top Gun"  I hear it's a great read.  I know I'm going to look for it.  Should be in some used book stores as it's about 3 years old.

I have read that book it is a very good book. it's a must read for a tim richmond fan.
