In my opinion it was 490 miles of boredom and 10 miles of racing. I really do like the fact that they can save the COT from getting into major crashes involving roll overs and multiple cars, but they are just boring to watch. Hopefully the short track racing will be better.

I thought it was pretty good. Normally I think all NASCAR is relatively boring but I enjoyed watching them really have to wheel them things with the COT being a little more jumpy. No surprise the guys up front were some of the best naturally talented guys around. When you really have to drive these things, the drivers will show up. :)

I guess that I might be a little tough on it. Plate racing is just not one of my favorite things to watch. It has glimpses of excitement followed by long periods of boredom. It was getting strung out there in the last quarter of the race. Good thing NASCAR threw a competition er,ah...debris on the track yellow to bunch the field back up.;)

Rickt

Looks to me like it's more about teamwork and strategy than ever.

I just wouldn't want to be the guy who did the welding on #24's control arm bracket.  I bet he was in the office first thing this morning.

I thought it was all right. It wasn't until the last quarter of the race when I got into it. I was down at my parents' farm in Napavine to watch it on their new flat screen TV. I felt sorry for Casey Mears and Clint Bowyer with their wrecks towards the end. I think Bowyer is happy just to finish this race right side up.

For me, I want to see some bumping and banging at places like Richmond and Bristol. I prefer the short tracks over the superspeedways.

One more thing: I wonder what frizzy has to say about Tony almost winning... :P I bet she was cussing up a storm when it was all said and done!
