You don't need HBO. I ordered it and I don't have it. It is a PPV event broadcast by HBO. I just went to on demand with Comcast and ordered it last year..Same deal this year. If you can't figure it out just call your cable or dish provider and they will walk you thru it..

Well..Tony Stewart won it.. On a scale of 1-10 this years broadcast would rate about a 5 with me. If it were not for Robby Gordon in a Scott Bloomquist car the whole race would have been boring. They just kept dragging it out longer and longer. Last years race was excellent and deserved a 9.5. 3 wide for the finish etc,etc..Will be hard pressed to pay $25 for that again. Am I the only one that was not impressed?

I personally liked it. I think the only thing that bothers me is how they drag it out so much. Again, like last year, I'd like to see race footage of the support class instead of a million interviews with the NASCAR guys.
I thought the racing was pretty good, except for all the yellows. There was a ton of side by side racing and a ton of passing. That 4 wide moment was pretty nuts. Fun to watch those non dirt guys really get after it.
J.J. Yeley embarassed himself. I thought he should have parked it after he brought out his 3rd yellow of the night, but he waited until he brought out his 4th. That was nuts.
I was impressed by Dave Blaney. Too bad his car expired during the main, but setting the track record in qualifying for a guy that doesn't normaly run a dirt late model is amazing. Go Dave.
Is there anything Robby Gordon can't drive?
I'll be glad to pay my $25 again next year. Didn't find the HD PPV for the $35. Hopefully they will have that available next year. Would love to see the race in HD.
Last thing. Tony Stewart is awesome as a driver and a person. For him to guarantee the million dollars to the Victory Junction Gang even if it had to be his own money, that's unreal. That made me more of a Tony Stewart fan right there.

| I agree with you Rick. I thought last years race was great but last nights race was boring to say the least. I don't think I will buy it next year, knowing that it will be on Speed Channel for free a few weeks later.

Yes his own Sprint Cup car to victory lane.

Remember too guys, it is for a good cause. I mean, you might not like the racing, but just remember that part of your money is going to the Victory Junction Gang, so you're actually giving to charity AND getting to watch a "boring" race.
Not that I agree that it was boring, just thought that might give you a little more justification to spend your $25.

Unfortunatly, I didn`t get to see it last night. I`ll have to see it on Speed when they rebroadcast. Glad to hear Dave Blaney was running well until he had problems. He may not be setting the world on fire in NASCAR, but the guy could flat out drive a sprint car and a modified before he left the dirt for NASCAR. As far as Tony`s generosity....I read somewhere that he is second only to Tiger Woods in sports personalities charitable contributions! He may be fiesty at times, but he must have a good heart!

I have to agree that it wasn't as exciting as last year. It's kinda hard to beat three wide in turn four for the checkers. Seemed like a lot of the drivers were having a hard time getting a handle on that track. Looked pretty rough and Tony even admitted that in his post race interview. Bummer cuz I think that had alot to do with the lack of battles after about two or three laps of each race.
Would have loved to see some of the support races as well. Looked like that was quite a field of cars.
Nonetheless..I'm in next year too. I still enjoyed the show.
