Thats right folks, here's you're chance to reak havok on the track in one of the best JCar's ever built, practically turn key (it is minus fuel cell and seat). All for the bargain price of $1650.
The chassis is built using 1 7/8 OD .120 wall tubing. If you aren't looking for a JCar but for a bridge to span a small valley, you could flip this car over and build a deck on the bottom and use it to drive you bulldozer across it.
The engine is moved back, to make more safe the engine and radiator. The engine can be removed without cutting any bars out, and is really easy to work on. You can practically rebuild the engine without pulling it out.
The drivetrain is probably worth the asking price by itself. The transmission is a TH350, rebuilt a last season. It shifts good, the dipstick leaked all over the side of the trans over the winter, so I fixed it. Aside from that it is leak free.
The engine is a 350:
-Camel hump heads, 2.02/1.6 valves, able to handle .600 lift
-flat top pistons
-Fully balanced rotating assemly
-Edelbrok Performer intake
-Edelbrok 750 carb
-Mallory Dual point distributor w/ Pertronix ignitor conversion
-Kicked-out oil pan, with windage control. I think its a milodon pan, but I'm not sure.
-Headers, Also has a setup for 2.5 inch centerdump manifolds with cross-over exhuast that tucks up into body to keep it from being ripped off by debris...
-Aluminum AFCO Radiator with high-vol electric fan
The front suspension is a combination of stock components that fixed some geometry problems and gave it disc brakes. The rear end is a ford 9 inch with disc brakes, 3.73 gears. The rear suspension is a truck arm system, like NASCAR cars.
So, if you're looking to tear it up in Douglas County Speedway's World famous trailer racing, boat races, or the regular JCar points chase, this is the car to have. It holds the JCar track record of 19.31 seconds, and is tough too. You also get about 10 wheels and I think 9 good tires with it, as well as some 10inch wheels wrapped with 10 inch goodyear slicks.
If you want some wiggle room on the price, I can remove the edelbrok performer RPM intake and install a factory aluminum smogger intake (or put yours on) which will reduce the price by $75 bucks. I will take off $120 if you don't want the radiator and fan. Right now the car has some rub-railes welded on which are illegal for the main season, and the body skins removed. If you want to save another $50, I'll leave the rails on and let you install the body.

BTW, This is Nick's car, not Johns. For some reason I keep forgetting to log John out and end up posting under his name...

Bump
So I've decided to change the terms of sale on this car...
I'll lower the price to $1500 bucks
I'll also consider a partial trade for a good running 4wd truck to haul firewood. As long as it is mechanically sound/easily repaired and street legal I don't care how ugly it is, or what it is.
