Car comes with new spare fenders, hood, nose and rear bumper, eight wheels total (all aero 58 series) and lots of other parts.  If price seems high, reread what is in the car.  I spent $30,000+ over the last couple years piecing it together with good stuff.  Car comes with everything I ran, I'm getting out cause that's what I promised the wife!!!  This car hasn't been stripped down and pieced back together with junk to sell it.  If I would have known I was going to end up putting that kind of money into it from a bare chassis w/body, I would have just bought a turn key car like this one!!  This car has over $1000 just in stainless braided line and fittings!!  Please, Don't remind me!!  Turn key car also comes with $1200 radios for driver and spotter!!

Will take offers on seat, tranny, and radios if I have to sell as a roller, which I assume I will.  Falcon tranny bolted to universal Quartermaster bell housing (fits chevy and ford block) with flexplate and starter (over a $1000 in that combination not counting tranny)  May also pull Gleason if there is a decent offer on it.

Tim,  Were you really interested in the seat???  It's a tight squeeze for me!!

I'm 5'10" and 180lbs.  The seat is obviously made to be a tight fit and it is.  Once you are in it opens up a bit.  It is reinforced a ton so getting it to spread would be a chore.  If it is something that will work for you, let me know.  I'd like to get a good $500 out of it.  It's a $1100 seat new and has been used for 8 races.  I can also take some pics and send to you also if you are interested.

I knew the Ford guys were few and far between..............I figured with all the Ford powered mini-stock guys out there, somebody would move up and want to stick with the blue oval.  Race ready or a roller....either way.....jump in and run top five with LLMRS!!

Would you consider a trade for a '74 Maverick with perfect interior and perfect body? Pull the 6cyl and throw in your 351w. My wife wants to sell the Mav but I would like to talk her into a trade.

Not a big Maverick fan.  I would say that is not going to be an option, but thanks for the action.  I think you are trying to get me in trouble with my wife, can you imagine the reaction when I walked her out to the shop to look at the Maverick I traded the late model I had $30,000+ into.  Thanks, but no thanks.

I see the original asking price was 11k what are you expecting to ask now that the radios and transponder have sold? has anything else been sold yet or is it still a turn key car?

It is still a turn key car.  It's just a fresh set of tires away from running the next LLMRS race.  (legal for that series, maybe others??)

I'd take $10,000 now.  Sold the radios for $700.THrew in the transponder, but the buyer was a buddy.

Not trying to push one way or the other, but I have a guy that seems very interested in the roller option and I'm not opposed to pulling out the motor and tranny as I am looking into building a hot rod as the next project and there's a ton of money in the motor.  He just contacted me this week to request pics and was going to be out of town for the week and then getting back to me.

I've had one hit on the car since I posted this ad, and now two within a week!!  Either the racing bug is biting or some racers have had some real bad luck this year!!

I may have to......and just bring a FOR SALE sign with me.  If it weren't race ready, I would have started pulling parts off of it and selling them individually.  I guess that's what I am going to have to do.  Anybody want some of this $$$ stuff??

1. $450/each front calipers for $???

2. $1300 Falcon Two Speed Tranny for $???

3. $Quartermaster universal steel bell housing/scattershield for ???

4. $1200 Gleason Differential for 9" for $???

5. $1100 Ultra shield seat (not Kirkey as previously advertised) for $ ???

6. $??? Phoenix Fire System for $???

The list goes on and on...................Nobody can get past the BLUE OVAL, I can see why the guy that sold it to me had the body pulled off and the engine out!!!!  NOTHING ELSE IS FORD!!

I believe SSS is changing the engine rule for 2009 to where this engine would not be legal.  I believe they changed the tranny rule in 2008 so the Falcon is not legal.  The roller is legal.  It's a lot of car ( lots of good stuff) for the money.  Again, if I had known I was going to nickel and dime it to the extent that I did, I would have been much better off to buy one like this.  Start adding all the parts....Gleason differential, Wilwood all four corners, Phoenix fire system, Accumulator, Fuel Cell, Bump and run air box, 58 series Aero Wheels X 8, spring loaded third link, and on and on....all with only 8 races........We won't talk about the time invested cause when it comes to race cars, we all work for free!!!!!!!!

I'll sale the engine and tranny too, but I was just getting ready to pull it as these rule changes are going to make it necessary.  This car is a proven winner at South Sound 2006 Limited Late Model 100 winner.  This car was fast with $50 steel shocks.  Never needed to upgrade, that was the only expense not spared on this car.

Compression motors will still be legal at SSS for 2009. They will be limited to a 7000rpm rev chip if I recall correctly. Have not heard any word on the tranny situation, so can't comment on that. As far as I know, the Falcon tranny is still legal there. You can call Nick @ Racecar Supply and ask him.

What if I told you that I need the money bad....I'm about to lose my job due to the economic downturn.....my kids are lucky if they get Top Ramen for dinner...........I can't afford dog food, so I've been letting Sparky graze on the grass in the backyard.....my wife keeps dropping X-mas present hints.....I'm not sure if there is even going to be a "Thanksgiving" this year, much less a X-mas........

OK, OK,.......so I don't have any kids or even a dog...........but I do have a wife dropping X-mas present hints and here's the real dilemna.......I can't remember what she was hinting at....Is there anybody out there that can help me with this???

Oh, and yes, the car is still for sale.......maybe on the Friday after Thanksgiving I will have it for 50% off.....limited to stock on hand!!

Sorry Tim, didn't catch your post until now.  Guy came up out of Roseburg area.  Not sure if he wants it to be a secret or not.  He talked about running LLMRS, but thought he may have to hang close to home due to the distance to most tracks.

Still have the seat, but you may need to drop a pound or two and you'll definitely need a haircut to squeeze into it!  I bet Tommy can stuff you into it if he needs to!

Have fun, if I you get bored next season, feel free to stop by my place and help me with some landscaping projects.  I may surprise you and show up at a racetrack of my choice and try to pay back some of those favors I still owe to all those I've raced with.  Need a quarter panel rebuilt, riveted, taped up and rehung in 15 minutes??

I guess I'm not up on the terminology "full containment".  I know that is a standard term but I don't know the true definition.

It is an Ultra Shield seat ( approx. $1100 new) NOT A KIRKEY AS PREVIOUSLY ADVERTISED.  my bad.

It has about 4" leg extensions, the standard rib cage wings (w/C-channel or aluminum tube reinforcement, shoulder restraint, and wings at head level on both sides.  Not 100% sure on width, 17-18" I believe. may be tighter.  I'm 5'10" and 180lbs. if that helps, and it is snug.

I can send pics within a day or two if you want to PM or e-mail me @ jimjussila@uhlmanns.com .  8 races on the seat and I would like to get a firm $500 from it.

LOL! All in a day's work my friend! Any time for those who deserve it. Any time. Hope to see you again in the future. Enjoy your landscaping. ;)
