Season Champion to be Crowned this Weekend

The final race of the Fountain Tire Alberta Sprint Tours inaugural season has arrived, and the Series Champion will be crowned this Sunday, October 2, 2005 at Budwieser Motorsports Park, Edmonton, Alberta. There are only 11 points separating the top two drivers in the race for the championship and the winner will not be known until the final checked flag is flown this Sunday afternoon.
Rookie of the Year and the Hard Charger of the Year will also be decided this Sunday so rest assured that some of the best racing of the season is still to come.
Sincere thanks and gratitude to all the race teams that competed throughout the season, ( the 2006 season opener is only 26 weeks away ) so lets all try to be there this Sunday to support our sponsors and end the 2005 season with a flourish.
The Fountain Tire Alberta Sprint Tour points fund and awards presentation for the qualifying drivers will take place at the Executive Royal Inn, 8450 Sparrow Drive, Leduc, Alberta at 7:30 P.M, Sunday October, 2, 2005.

Sunday, October 2, 2005
Budwieser Motorsports Park
Qualifying at 2:00 P.M, racing at 2:30 P.M
