Any guesses on who this is? This is a tough one....
This is Guy Nemer-Kaiser from the Medford area.

Wade,
Based on the 1977 photo, yours must be around 1974 or 1975 maybe? I have another shot of your dad's car in 1976 and it doesn't look like that shot. Very cool!

Here's a shot of Dane Smith's Nova in 1977 before he switched to the Camaro that's in my avatar. I really liked how this car looked with the gold and burgundy together.
In the background on the back wall right to left:
25 Scott Holt, 61 Rick Hunsley, 89 Ed Funderberg, 43 Ross Payant, 70 Jay McCleary, 0 Dave Machado, 66 Glen Goodson, 34 Clarence Vershoor, 55 Bruce Rayburn and 56 Guy Nemer-Kaiser.
To the left of Dane's Nova is the 22 of Pete Cartwright and the orange 35 of Dick Turner.

great pics, guys. I wish at had some to share. I was there for much of the action in the 70's and early 80's.
lately I've [still] been reliving it in DTR2...

enalnitram,
Those DTR shots are cool. I wish I had the time!!!!!
I will try to get some more Medford photos scanned and uploaded in the next few days. No time to do anything right now but work, it sucks....
But, I have a racing trip upcoming to the midwest in the next couple weeks, can't wait.

This is Medford's Dick Kyker.
Every time I see new pics in this thread it totally makes my day. I somehow missed this one. I lived across the street from Claude on Alameda St, and I was friends with his son, Brian. In the mid-70's he was #77. When I was 7 years old, I was completely in awe of him working on his cars. And I've already told you about how close we were to Dane. I live in Michigan now. It's a thrill just to hear that someone knows who he is.
thanks again for posting all these pics. I'm loving it.

A while ago, I saved all of the pics out of this thread, and I emailed them to my dad. I didn't know this, but he is still in touch with Dane's sister. so he emailed them to her, and then she emailed them to Dane. so, Dane told her that he got a huge kick out of seeing all of these pics. I guess he has a lot of pics of his own cars, but not so many of the others.
If these are thrilling memories for us, it must be even more so for the drivers.

enalnitram,
That's great to hear. I share my photos for that exact reason.
I know there are more stories and photos out there, share them with everyone if you got them.

I finally had some time to scan some more Medford shots.... Can anyone name the drivers in this shot from 1978?
