I agree, it's a great site. It was started by the late Stan Cowan. Here's a few more to check out in your spare time.

Can I humbly add my little blog? It's all over the map at times (considering it's barely a month old) but the map starts in Burnaby and moves outward.

I might have missed it, I didn't see it in that long list.  Here's a good one with a bunch of east coast stuff.

I'm sure there are many, many sites out there that I don't have. As I will do with your post, the new ones get bookmarked into my Vintage file.  Thanks for the addition. Looks like a good one.

Here are some oldies from 1972, Mike Gregg's Grant King midget.. we raced at Ascot on Turkey night  and then went to Ontario Motor Speedway with our car and Jimmy Caruther's car to do a test for USAC..  They were trying to determine if the Midgets could put a race on the road course..  we ran the road course in both directions but with out transmissions the cars would not go through the hairpin in either direction and still have enough gear to go down the front straight without over revving the engines..  I took some pretty neat pictures while there of Jimmy Caruther and Mike Gregg in the big  O winners circle  , an actress named Joy Wilkerson and her husband Anthony Cardosa were there,  he was a movie producer, mostly Biker movies that she starred  in..  Swede Savage , he is the tall guy with his back to the camera in one picture of Jimmy's car, he was  there and was going to drive Mike's car but he was too tall to get in the car.. We did get a chance to put big gears in and the boys got a few laps around the 2 1/2 mile track at a pretty good speed ..I think they both scared themselves..  The sponser on Mike's car that year was the Greatfull Dead Rock Band

How about this car,, Ed Sneva was always the ultimate inovator,, This is the car they built for Edsel Jr (Babe) in 1974.. Unfortunately he was seriously injured in Cranbrook in this car very shortly after this was taken
