Here's a video you may be interested in.  This is the "D" trophy dash from the 1987 Outlaw 100 at the Douglas County Speedway in Roseburg, OR.  I'll try to get more of these uploaded as time permits.

Scott,

I have uploaded another video.  This one is heat race #6.  There are some legends you'll definitely recognize in this one.

These are awesome. I was living in California at that time and haven't seen any of these races. Thanks for uploading them Jason.

That was a good race! Who won the feature at this show?

A lot of Willamette Speedway regulars at this race. Also, good to see Don Harper back on the asphalt as he'd been running a lot of dirt in the early 80's.

Very cool!

Scott,

Tom Elam won the main event.  Hopefully I'll get that one out on Youtube someday, but I'll probably have to split it up into at least 3 videos to get it uploaded.

By the way, I believe Don Harper won the Outlaw 100 in 1988.

Jason,

I was thinking it was going to be Harper, Elam or Sprague based on the heat race. They were all pretty quick.

Thanks for putting those out there. I love that stuff!

Scott,

Glad you like the videos!  Those three guys were hooked up that day, that's for sure.

I just wish I could see some videos of the old Medford Raceway.  I know they're out there, but not too easy to find.

Jason,

Oh baby! Would I love to see some of the Medford stuff on video! You're right, I know it's out there somewhere.

Scott,

I know that Jay Reese has some video that I emailed him about last year.  I think he might even have a video of the Oregon Carpet Exchange race (if I remember correctly).  Also, Jimmy Walker, Jr. apparently has some videos that are on Beta video tapes.  They both post on occasion on the Southern Oregon racer's message board:
