I e-mailed the Inland NW Sprint Car Assoc. based out of Spokane and told them I tought I came across his name last year in a driver's roster. I remember when Terry brought his Sprint Car to Skagit in the mid 70's from Pennslyvania (? spelling) with it's side wings and wowed the field and the fans. He had many good years in his visits to the NW and California. Drifter 56 and Jerry Day-what do you remember about Terry's racing in the NW? This sprint car club said that he is now Race Director and a very valuble asset to the club!

| Terry showed up in 1974. My first race was going to be a WRA race at Sky Valley and I got there really early. There was already one car there and it was Terry. The race rained out so we had to wait to see the guy from Pennsylvania show us how it was done. Last edited on Thursday Apr 24th, 2008 02:48 AM by Chuck#16

SAFEWAY KELLY, are you talking about Terry Crosure the sprint car driver, or Terry Crosure the ROCK STAR? lol
What many people don't realize, is that Terry had a rock band predating his racing days. A friend of mine found a copy of one of his allbums from the 1960s in the vinyl section of an old record store in Everett.
Quite a cool life that he has led.

That's interesting trivia that I never knew. Looks like he's the only one not to reunite.

Wow, speedbuggy! That is an awesome link! For whatever reason, Terry has kept this most amazing part of his life a secret from his racing fans. What an awesome guy!
...and big thanks to you, speedbuggy for digging up those links.

Wow!! My thoughts also!! Hard to believe I was just thinking what this long lost open wheel hero was doing, and find out he was more famous in his day with his group as he was with racing.
