Yeah.....a rain out at Madras is unusual but I think this is the 3rd one this season including play day. Farmers Almanac says this is going to be a wet year.
Fortunately we weren't one of the families who had to evacuate! The fire was about 3 miles from us. However, we were ready to do so! We had several friends (all racers) standing by with car trailers and enclosed trailers to help us evacuate if need be!
