Here are two shots from Saturday's practice at Stateline Speedway of Blaine Sneva's Pink Lady Modified. Engineered by Ed Sneva and crew, the updated car from last year features a new rear deck lid creation, a "new air induction thing", and a "rock sweeper" air dam attachment.
It's pretty wild, fast and loud. Had no muffler - was straight pipe. Sounded like a top fuel car launching, rattled the fences and vibrated the jersey barriers. No exaggeration!
They retired early after two runs with engine woes.

| I seriously don't know that in all my years of doing this racing gig that I have met anyone that is as good at pushing that envelope as Edsel is........he is ALWAYS looking for ways to circumvent the rulebook.....always. Let the tech folks have fun with his latest.......too funny.

I remember that Slick 50 WEDGE that damn near killed him at Evergreen. That thing was cool to watch run tho. He also came to Wenatchee years back unloaded a super mod that looked alot like an Indy car, ripped off a lap that had never sen the likes of, the sanctioning group at the time told him his top wing was illegal and he loaded up and went home. Very creative to say the least.

| The car might have problems passing tech, and on that car I would bet a months paycheck that it will be looked at hard. I remember two years ago when they first brought the car out after the first race they could not run it until the made a few major changes to it. I know that the hood scoop will provably not be allowed, the spoiler will have to be changed. I can't tell how long it is from pictures but the first copy of the car looked like a small war ship and they had to cut several feet off of it.

I'm pretty sure R J Michaux is Ron Michaux from Victoria who is an older brother of one of my best buddies from the island. If nobby doesn't know where the pic was taken or if nobody else recognizes the track I can contact either Ron or Laurence and they can enlighten us.

| Who's avatar??? I believe the question is what track was the photo taken at that shows the 64 r/e Sneva car that nobby posted above. If you are talking about my avatar.....the pic is taken at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe. It was taken by Robert Hunter and I believe it was the very first Rebel Jackson Sr Memorial and shows Rebel Jr in the 11 and Davey Hamilton in the 1. And that's my dad standing in the flagstand.
