Long time Northwest stockcar racer, fan and overall great guy Don Ackerman passed away last thursday from complications of lung cancer. Anyone that knew Don (which I did really well) would always know that you could get a great laugh anytime he was around. He lit up the room no matter where he was... Rest in peace old friend

On Saturday August 16, 2008, there will be a Memorial/Pot Luck for Don at the Sprague Community Center, Sprague Wa. If you would like to bring a dish of food it would be appreciated.
