Mark,

That was posted this morning on the Willamette web-site, so is current. Midget pay out and format for both classes are updated.

So are the heats lined straight up and then the main lined straight up on how the heats are finished? is there and invert and take so many out of the heat and a pill draw for how many cars will be inverted for the main?  I hope the purse will pay better down the line and not just for the winner.

If it were not for the fact I have only been working there for 30 days I would definately caught a severe case of the Saturday Night Racing Flu. I here it causes extreme happiness and everything smells like methanol.:D

Racing for some is more than just a hobby. To some it is more than just a way of life. I would go so far as to say that for some it is life, love and a RELIGON.

It would be criminal, no, I say discriminating to keep a man and his family from honoring his religon and religish belief and practice.

Come brother speed lover, come to our temple of worship and brotherhood and bring your offerings of coinage to our gods of vending and par take in the spirits, honor our country's flag and join in our prayers for our lords of the dirt to safely complete their task............

.....Well, it was worth a shot!

sclmfan/ sprintcarz, talked to WILLAMETTE, they said they would handle a B- MAIN as they do every weekend, and by the way the way PAYOUT/PAYDOWN has changed, go to the WILLAMETTE SPEEDWAY site,  or e-mail them, they would be happy to answer your questions!

I talked with Willamette today, and was told nothing more than "we always pay the B-main cars."

So, with that information, having a car, a driver, a hot crew member/car owner, a racing disease, and nothing more than an assumption that it will pay more than $10 bucks to take a green flag - it looks like we'll be going to Willamette on the 4th.

The rules are pretty open, 360ci,iron block, injection or carb. on methanol fuel, the rest is open, BRING IT ! As for age, that is a TRACK & INSURANCE issue, call or e-mail WILLAMETTE SPEEDWAY. Nick Thomlinson ran the last race, two weeks ago,I think he is 14, he did a great job--- good young driver !!!

Jeff, I believe the other group is 18 yrs. of age, however the "N.W. WINGLESS WARRIOR TOUR" will work with you on that issue, at this time we have 4 or 5 young drivers we are going to be mentoring in our 2009 season TOUR, anything we can do to help bring young drivers into our sport, they are the future! See you at WILLAMETTE SPEEDWAY on the 4th of OCT., looking forward to talking with you there, SPRINT CAR #14 / DRIVER- "flyin"RYAN MARTINEZ, just turned 18 yrs.old a couple of months ago, fourth year in a sprint car.
