| The newly formed Board of Directors for the NWWT convened at 6:30pm this date. Board members present were Keary Morris, Rich Gentes, Steve Veltman, Mark Herz and Doug McVEY. The topics brought to the table for discussion were as follows: #1 Founding Membership, General Membership, Associate Membership, Member Insurance, Dues and Fees. #2 Track Venues and Officials, Race Dates and Scheduling, Race Purses and Dispersal, Tow Money. #3 Rules: Open Midget Rules, Traditional (non-winged) Sprint Cars Rules, Safety Gear, Tech. Inspections, Drivers Meetings, Protests, Qualiying vs. Pill Draws, Qualifying Points, Heat Race Points, Trophy Dash, B-Main Transfers and Feature Event (A-Main) Line-up. #4 General Business: Tour Primary Sponsors and Associate Sponsors, Event Sponsors, Business Cards, Logo Stickers, Pocket Schedules, Autograph Cards, Banners, Etc. The Board adjourned at 9:30pm. The next General Membership meeting will be announced within ten (10) days. Thank You for your interest in the NWWT !
