Just 11 days after the 14th Annual Trophy Cup concluded, the date for the 15th version of this very special event has been set, and the 2008 version will be more special than ever. The 15th Annual Trophy Cup is set for October 24 and 25, 2008, again to be contested at the Tulare Thunderbowl at the fairgrounds in Tulare, CA.
For this 15th chapter in the event that showcases some of the best talent in sprint car racing, the purse has been established at a guaranteed $100,000. Additionally, the 2008 check to the Make-A-Wish foundation will also be guaranteed at $50,000. This will raise the total given to Make-A-Wish by the Trophy Cup to a half million dollars.
Besides drawing the best from throughout the western United States to this winged 360 event, the Trophy Cup is the only race that donates every penny of the entry fees. Along with additional money from such activities as the annual golf tournament, the Trophy Cup has presented not only a unique and exciting race program each year but has also become a huge contributor to the Make-A-Wish cause.
