I didn't know that Kailey.:)  Bunny's are cute huh?  You know - Easter is just around the corner.  Have you considered asking your dad to read this thread?  He's not to good at taking hints though.  You might have to explain why you want a bunny and what the benefits of having a bunny are. ;)

If that doesn't work..........ask him if he's going to Tulare anytime soon.  :)

Yep, that's TJ's new pet. He hasn't stopped smiling.

Speaking of pet, I heard there's a new dog in Shelton, Mandy's new brother :D

You are right Nicki, there is a new kid in town.  His name is Porkchop, we adopted him from our local Adopt a Pet which is where we got Mandy just about exactly a year ago to the day that I picked up Porkchop.  He is now 13 weeks and 26 pounds, he is a Chow/Mastiff mix.  He and Mandy get along great and can't wait to see you at the races.

EVERYBODY: Meet Miss Missy (Missy) She is a Female Black Lab. Sweet as a dog can be. (Not to mention: she Kinda adopted US last week) Daddy wants to find her a home, I say NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! I walk by my brothers room in the morning and she growls because she's protecting him. She's looking, well, dad is, for a good home.

A little more detail here on Miss Missy.

She showed up at our door last week and will not leave.  I told the kids she is obviously a very good/smart dog, and somewhere there is a family looking for her.  Unfortunately, we found out she wasn't wanted by her previous owner and needs a new home.

She is a 1 year old black lab, and has been spayed.  She gets along great with other animals, especially after Nicki's cat layed down the house rules.  She is great indoors and out.  A little problem with indoor bathroom etiquette to begin with, but she's quickly learned those boundaries.  She is extremely smart and devoted.  Very protective of kids, and leary of strangers - especially the UPS guys.  She loves water, and can dive into any size puddle to get her fix.  She loves to play, especially tug of war, but isn't very good at hide n seek.  She follows the cars out the driveway when we leave, but returns to the porch to await our return.

Sadly, it is apparent she has been disciplined harshly.  Thats probably the reason for her reluctance to get to know strangers.  However, as I said, she is extremely smart and devoted to the people she chooses.

We just do not have room in our lives right now for her, and would love to see her find a good family to protect and love.

Crap, this isn't working out.  If I have to give the furniture away with the dog, then someone is going to want new furniture.:X

I wonder if that will sway her vote.

Might be cheaper to move out myself.  :?

Hey Bluteam,

Still got that stray? No, not interested in adopting it, just trying to track how long you'll let it stay there before admitting that it's a member of the family- 'least he wont bite ya.

Know the feeling about Kujo, we lost 2 kitties this last summer (Oreo and Patches, who was Oreo's daughter) that we had for about 15 years and were very good pals! I lost one to a stroke about 3 years ago (Sylvester, Oreo's son and bro of Patches, who was an identical match for the cartoon Sly! No Joke!!) whom was 12 and he was a very good friend and I stilll miss him to death! Would love to have met Kujo and hope to meet Killer Lucy someday at GHR!!:)

Sorry about that Nicki, I had been told she was she. It was the name I got confused about. I thought your dad called her Sissy, and yes 'least she wont bite him.
