Aaron Fell took advantage of a lap 27 caution that sent the top two cars to the back and easily won the 1,200 A Main Saturday at Deming Speedway in the 24th Annual Nooksack River Casino Clay Cup Nationals.
Jared Peterson, a 15-year old from Stanwood who raced at Deming the previous two seasons and is running in Skagit Speedway’s 360 Division this year, won the 600 A Main Peterson led from start to finish in the race and was never seriously challenged. Corey Eliason was the runner up.

| Big time Congrats to the winners!!! Clay Cup this year was one of the best I've ever seen. All three nights the 1200 mains were incredible, with racing going on all through the field. At times you really didn't know where to watch with good stuff going of everywhere. I can't imagine anyone leaving Deming not completely satisfied and totally entertained. Thanks Paul and Bev for all you do to make Clay Cup one of the must see shows of the year. I still can't get the smile off my face.
