Did the track tell you how much snow or hail fell or did it look black enough in the sky to call it early?  Watching the news, this was a good call either way for the travelers.

It was a combination of snow and hail that came down so fast and so hard that within about 10 minutes we were having a snowball fight with the stuff off of the grandstands.  It had also created a mothernature built pond in  the pits, which was quite enough to call it a done deal. If it was gonna do it at least it did before the people that travel quite aways had left home or were only part way there.  A short time before that it was sunny,  it was just bizarre and I hope to never see anything like it again in April.  It's racing season for crying out LOUD!!  We're supposed to be racing, not shoveling.   :X   See everybody next week.
