Christian Roeder and his crew were on their way to the Montana 200. The driver "Frank" was killed. The following is a report from KPAX in Missoula. Thoughts and prayers to Christian, crew, and the families of those involved.

Reporting from KPAX in Missoula

A man has died following a one vehicle rollover in Sanders County.

The Montana Highway Patrol tells us that just before 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, six people were traveling north on Highway 28 near Plains, when the front tire of the vehicle exploded. The driver of the car then lost control, crossed over an embankment and rolled over. The vehicle was also hauling a trailer and that overturned in the wreck.

The crash killed the 65 year old male driver, and hurt five others in the vehicle, who were all taken to St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula to be treated for their injuries.

The MHP says the driver was wearing his seatbelt.

A nice memorial for Frank was set up in the pits this morning.  It really was about all we could do for him.  The story was told to the fans tonight, and a moment of silence was dedicated to him.  Then the show went on, isn't that only proper?
