Jmo but I think he is way over rated but I have been wrong before. Already have a couple hundred bet that he won't last 2 seasons and will never win a race with Penske. And just to add, Penske has always provided winning cars to winning Nascar drivers in Cup. Hornish has never done worth a damn for him in Cup although winning in open wheel. But like I said, could be wrong. Good luck to him......

Mike its up in the air at this point, my commitment to the guard says i have to drill once a month, and with my weekend drills i will only be able to make 3 races at DCS this year.  so i m kinda looking for a street stock and an outlaw kart so i can get alot more racing in.

NASCAR PR: Official Announcement: Driver AJ Allmendinger has been temporarily suspended from NASCAR competition based upon notification of a positive "A" test NASCAR received from the Medical Review Officer as stated in Section 19-11B (6,7) of the NASCAR Substance Abuse Policy. Pursuant to the rule book, Allmendinger has the opportunity to request within the next 72 hours that his "B" sample be tested. NASCAR will follow its policies and procedures set forth in the rule book in dealing with this matter.(NASCAR)(7-7-2012)

UPDATE: B Sample Test Set for Allmendinger: Statement from Tara Ragan, Vice President, Walldinger Racing Inc. "We now have a confirmed date for the testing of AJ's "B" (split specimen) Sample. The test will take place on Tuesday, July 24 at 8:00am CDT and be conducted at the Aegis Analytical Laboratories in Nashville. Pursuant to the 2012 NASCAR Rulebook and in line with the procedures, we have elected to have a designated independent toxicologist present on AJ's behalf. Along with everyone else, we are looking forward to hearing the results as quickly as possible. AJ and all of us at Walldinger Racing have truly appreciated the outpouring of support from our fans, partners, and colleagues. It has meant a lot to us during this difficult time. I stated earlier in this thread that I did not have a lot of confidence in him keeping this ride but never would have guessed he would end up like this. AJ seems like a real nice guy and hopefully he can get his stuff together. So sad to see another chance of a lifetime and career go down the crapper again. On a side note though it looks like I win the bet with my buddy Matt!

It didn't say methamphetamine and it said he had nano amounts which means very small amounts and on jayski's it gave a list of prescription meds that contain amphetamine, which on the street is called SPEED, who knows that some of these performance drinks and drink powders don't contain small amounts of amphetamine in them.

Allmendinger released by Penske; Penske Racing announced today that AJ Allmendinger has been released as driver of the #22 Dodge Charger in the NASCAR Cup Series. Allmendinger was suspended indefinitely by NASCAR last week for a positive drug test. "Penske Racing fully supports NASCAR's substance abuse policy and we are disappointed with AJ's positive drug test results," said Roger Penske. "AJ is a terrific driver, a good person and it is very unfortunate that we have to separate at this time. We have invested greatly in AJ and we were confident in his success with our team. The decision to dismiss him is consistent with how we would treat any other Penske Racing team member under similar circumstances. As AJ begins NASCAR's 'Road to Recovery' program, we wish him the best and look forward to seeing him compete again in NASCAR." Sam Hornish Jr., will drive the #22 Dodge at Pocono this weekend and for the foreseeable future.
