Tangent Ace Trevor Glaser completed a weekend sweep on Saturday Nite at Grays Harbor Raceway. The #2 Trak-Star chassis sponsored by Mid-Valley Farms, Farmland Tractor Supply, Crop Production Services, Operation Homefront Powered by Phantom Race Engines entry drove to victory in two of the four late model heats, the late models ran one inverted heat race and one straight up heat race per group.
In the evenings Late Model feature, Happy Valley Teenager Justin Duty in the Don Frank Flooring Rocket led the field to the initial green flag. Portland’s Joey Tanner in the Jody’ Nothin but Fun X factor would assume the point in the early laps. Glaser and John Duty in the second Don Frank Flooring Rocket cut their way thru the field from the last row and as the night’s first caution flew, the scoreboard showed Tanner, Glaser and the senior Duty in third.
Tanner led the field to the restart with Glaser and Duty in hot pursuit. Coming out of turn two Glaser used his Phantom Engine horsepower to fly by Tanner down the backstretch and complete the pass in turn three. Glaser set sail, building a nearly half lap lead at the checkered flag. Congratulations To Trevor and Crew!!!
Glaser showed tremendous versatility over the weekend; winning on a dry slick racey Willamette Speedway on Friday nite and a very impressive win at the ultra fast Grays Harbor Raceway Saturday nite.
