|THURSDAY NIGHT THUNDER
Coming to Skagit Speedway!!
Starting - Thursday, June 4
The high banks of Skagit Speedway will soon see the blistering fast Sprint Cars, Modifieds, Tuners and Focus Midgets back in action.
Funtime Promotions is pleased to announce a special racing venue to get the track open for the 2020 racing season. The state restrictions put in place for the Covid-19 virus are for participant only events, it does not allow fans in the stands… so we are going to bring the racing to the fans with our weekly Pay-Per-View Live Streaming.
The racing will be Thursday nights starting at 7:30pm PST and completed by 9-9:30pm. Thursday night was selected to maximize viewers, “A lot of tracks that are doing weekly pay-per-view events have had to reduce the purses to stay in business”. Stated track owner Steve Beitler, “I want to be able to pay full weekly purses and with some extra sponsor help and the additional viewers that are projected with a Thursday night broadcast I believe it will work”.
To log onto the live streaming events, the fans need to go to http://www.pacwestaction.tv (pac west action.tv will be up on Tuesday June 2nd). Create a profile and follow payment and viewing instructions. The cost will be $24.95 (the cost of 1 adult & 1 junior ticket) Per-night. We will consider a multiple night package after a few weeks.
Opening night will host The Budweiser 360 Sprint cars, The Skagit Aggregates Modifieds and the Outlaw Tuners. Hot laps at 7:00pm Racing at 7:30pm PST. Pit gates open at 4:00pm. -- THIS IS A POINTS RACE --
There will be no admission to the grandstands, only through the pit gate. Teams are recommended to bring hand sanitizer and all persons entering the pit area should follow recommended Covid-19 protection guidelines.
If you are not feeling well or have a temperature please stay home.
